Please note that my processing time is 1-2 weeks due to a high volume of orders. Most times I can get it shipped in one week, I just cannot guarantee it at this time. I am working day and night to ensure your order goes out on time! Thank you for your patience! 🙂 A classic garden must have, Black Eyed Susan’s are actually in the Sunflower family! A North American native, and the state flower of Maryland, this flower is yellow with a black center and looks like a cross between a daisy and a sunflower. They have long been used as a medicinal herb by Native Americans for for colds, flu, infection, swelling and (topically, by poultice) for snake bite. Not all parts of the plant are edible though. Some Black Eyed Susan varieties are annuals, this one is a biennial, meaning it will come back for two consecutive years. They also easily self seed which can cause the plant to come back for many years each spring. This is for approx 100 (measured by weight) seeds Grows to 1-2 feet tall. Looks amazing planted in bunches for a wildflower meadow feel. Hardy to zones 3-9, although thriving here in zone 10! Plant in spring or summer in cooler climates. Fall or winter in particularly warm climates. I combine shipping on all seed orders, you pay one flat fee for as many seeds as you would like for no additional shipping. Orders over $35 for any combination of items in my shop ship for free! All of my seeds are tested and guaranteed. Most of my seeds are fresh off of my own plants.

In the language of flowers, crocus translates to cheerfulness, which is what these bright yellow darlings bring to the garden. Hardy and drought tolerant, they multiply and return year after year. Their petite growth habit makes them ideal for planting beneath shrubs and deciduous trees, along walkways, and even in containers on patios, decks, and porches. Growing Instructions: Select a spot in the garden that receives full sun to part shade where the soil drains well. Loosen the soil, and plant the bulbs, pointy end up, approximately 3-4″ deep and a few inches apart. Tamp down the soil and water well after planting. Foliage should be left to die back naturally as it provides the nutrients the bulb will need to grow and flower the following year. Bulbs may also be planted in containers and tubs at the same depth. Planting tip: For a more natural look, plant crocuses in clusters rather than in straight lines. To achieve a naturalized look, crocuses can also be planted in the lawn. Toss handfuls of bulbs onto the desired area of the lawn and plant them where they fall. Just don’t mow the lawn until the leaves of the crocuses have died down. Reddish-orange interior markings give this classic yellow daffodil its tropical twist. Simply beautiful! Flowers are spicy fragrant. Bulbs are easily grown, multiply rapidly and can be left undisturbed for a number of years. Tolerate: Rabbit, Deer, Drought. Probably nothing in the gardening world is more foolproof and more rewarding than ‘naturalizing’ daffodils. Because unlike most other garden flowers, these fantastic plants are super-easy to plant in fall, they don’t care about soil, as long as it’s well-drained, and they’ll bloom beautifully for you with absolutely no work every spring after you plant them. Best of all, daffodils increase over the years, each bulb developing into a blooming clump. All you have to do is pick the spots. The one thing to remember is that you won’t be able to mow that area until the tops die down. Everything else takes care of itself. In a new or established wildflower meadow, the wildflower plants grow up around the daffodils hiding the fading foliage, so there’s no work to do. And if you’re planting wildflower seed, what could be easier that to pop in the bulbs when you have the ground already turned?
