The first four photos are cherry with no color added finished with tung oil. The fifth photo shows maple wood and the sixth and seventh show wormy maple; each of these are natural color finished with tung oil. The 8th photo shows cherry wood with a green dye applied finished with tung oil. The last two photos are white oak with brown stain added finished with tung oil. Those last two photos show slats that are lowered a little. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats at the same level as the top of the sides. Or upon request, the slats can be positioned lower so that a Tatami mat can be placed on the slats. The queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is about 1.5″. 20 slats are provided.
