A North Carolina Designer’s Classic Style
A North Carolina Designer’s Classic Style – Blue and White Home Today, we explore the work of Raleigh, North Carolina based interior designer Anne Wagoner. Anne, a native North Carolinian, started her design firm, Anne Wagoner Interiors, in 2010. Her polished and classic style incorporates antiques and vintage art into many of the spaces she designs. Here are some favorite spaces taken from her design portfolio. This elegant and sophisticated Raleigh entry was the space that prompted me to take a closer look at Anne’s portfolio: The mostly neutral palette with pops of gold, black, and animal print is classic and sophisticated. What a beautiful antique barometer! The kitchen in the same home: Anne incorporates formal artwork throughout the kitchen, elevating its style: Vignettes from a Chapel Hill home designed by Anne Wagoner: Perhaps my favorite space in Anne’s portfolio is pictured below. The oval portrait and the green and cream print fabric from Sister Parish Design work to stunning effect: A soothing dining room and kitchen in Raleigh: A calming pale blue palette at a lake house: Old-world details grace this Raleigh kitchen: An extensive collection of ironstone: I love the unexpected placement of an old oil portrait in the kitchen: A library ladder is useful in the kitchen!
