I originally designed this mandala for my book Crochet Yourself Calm Inspired by crochet vintage doilies, I wanted an easy repetitive pattern that will slow your mind and help you relax, as you crochet stitch by stitch, and I am happy to share this easy colourful crochet pattern with you all! I love the pleasing geometry of the ever increasing circle as you crochet this piece. As I looked at the crochet mandala’s on my table, I realised that I now wanted them displayed in all their colourful glory. The crochet mandala is approx. 11in (28cm) across, and I found in my stash some embroidery hoops that were 12in (30cm) in diameter. With a little stretch, the mandala’s fitted perfectly.
