London City Guide : Most Instagrammable Blow Dry Bar – Fashion Mumblr
London’s most photogenic Blow Dry Bar There’s some thing about having a blow dry that can totally transform your entire look. You step in often looking bedraggled and flat, and just a short while later, head out looking groomed and glossy! I’ve only really started using blow dry bars over the past year, they’re speedy, a fabulous experience, and leave me with locks that I could only dream of being able to create myself. My favourite place to spend an hour or so before a special occasion (or, more often, a day of taking photos for the blog!) is Duck & Dry – in particular their new location just off Oxford Street. It is incredibly conveniently located, and a bloggers dream come true inside. A big bright room overlooking Oxford Street is filled with hair stations, a washing area as well as a nail bar, makeup area and instagram-friendly giant swing! The atmosphere is completed with hanging plants, plenty of pastels, and a dusky pink marble reception desk – it’s a calm and stylish environment perfect for getting ready for the day ahead, taking those all important insta-shots, and even getting ready for a night out in the West End. Yes, Duck & Dry is primarily a blow dry bar, but you can also get lots of different styles too, from a full up-do to festival braids for example! Hair treatments are also on offer, so if you need a mask or another type of TLC for your tresses, it’s available here! Walk ins are acceptable but I’d definitely suggest getting a booking in during peak hours, especially if there’s a group of you, or if you want to make the most of Prosecco Thursdays (unlimited prosecco with your blow dry, for ?40!).
